OUTDOOR BOOK DROP MOVED

The outdoor book drop is now available on the west side of the new City Hall, under the awning.

What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

ILL is a service we provide for our patrons that allows you to borrow library materials (books and journal articles) we don’t own from other libraries all over the United States.

How Does ILL Work?

Submit a request on our website or call during regular library hours. We will attempt to locate the item you need and place a request. ILL materials generally arrive within 1 to 2 weeks. Most ILL items are free; some may have a charge. You will be responsible for any fines or fees charged by the lending library. Please return ILL items to us by the date specified for return to the lending library.

Bee Cave Public Library is proud to have been selected to participate in the 2007 Accessibility Internet Rally for Austin (AIR Austin). Teams of designers and developers were matched with area non-profits to create well-designed websites accessible to people with disabilities. Thank you to Team Refresh Austin for giving our website an “extreme makeover” and making it user-friendly and accessible to everyone. Most of the photographs on our new site were taken by library patron extraordinaire Elena Reid, a member of the Library Advisory Committee and the Friends of Bee Cave Public Library.

The following materials are not available through Interlibrary Loan:

Titles that we already own
Individual or bound issues of magazines
Audio-visual materials such as audiobooks, VHS tapes, DVDs, etc.
Recently published books
Current bestsellers or books that are exceptionally popular
Genealogical publications and reference books

Are there any tutorials or demonstrations of TexShare Databases?
